Father Brett Judkins

Father Brett A. Judkins was born on October 29, 1986 in Belleville to Paul and Kathy Judkins.  He was baptized at St. Stephen Church in Caseyville and grew up in nearby Collinsville.  Father Judkins graduated from Althoff Catholic High School in Belleville in 2005 and from Saint Louis University in 2009 with a B.A. in History.  He began his studies for the priesthood at Kenrick-Glennon Seminary in 2010 and received from there his B.A. in Philosophy in 2012, and his M.Div. and M.A. in Theology in 2016.  He was ordained to the priesthood for the Diocese of Belleville at St. Peter’s Cathedral on May 14, 2016 by The Most Rev. Edward K. Braxton.  His first assignment was as Associate Pastor of St. Nicholas Parish in O’Fallon and St. Joseph Parish in Lebanon, IL from 2016-2017, and later he served for a brief time as Sacramental Minister at St. Felicitas Parish in Beaver Prairie.  Father Judkins began his current assignment as Associate Pastor of St. Joseph Parish in Olney, St. Joseph Parish in Stringtown, Holy Cross Parish in Wendelin, and St. Lawrence Parish in Lawrenceville on August 19, 2019.
